Shiroyama clay is a precious pure domestic clay that can be mined in Shiroyama, Yabu City, Hyogo Prefecture.
In ancient times, mud (clay) deposited in lakes was metamorphosed (hydrothermal metamorphosis) by pressure from the earth's crust and water heated to high temperatures by magma, and turned into rock (clay minerals).
It is a mineral-rich clay that is mined and crushed today after more than 56 million years.

Clay can be used for a variety of purposes.

■Clay bath: Just add a pinch of clay to your bath.
■Clay pack: Make it into a paste and apply it to your face. Rinse gently without rubbing. You can also apply clay to the skin-adhesive side of a commercially available sheet face pack.
■Clay water spray...just mix it with water. Spray it on your skin as a mist.
*Cleanses the skin and keeps it healthy. Prevents spots and freckles caused by acne and sunburn, and moisturizes the skin.
